on that weekend. but one of these days I'm
going to make it. That weekend there is always
a New Vo1'ce Steering Committee meeting and
usually ICON'ssteppins down show, too. The
second weekend in June is ICON Coronation
which last$ from Friday through Sundaynighl.
Just ask mystaff ai work: I'm not worth a dam
on that Monday. Then. the lh.ird weekend in
June. we move into Pride Activities and the
River City Mixed Chorus Concett and Lhe Interfaith Service. Then comes Pride Week with
whatever new and exciting that has been
planned. There's the P·FLAG meetins. and
this year there was Great Pl&ins Mr. Drummer
and then the parade and picruc and rally. then.
fu,ally, another ICON picnieoo the41hof July.
And througllou1 the month I am buying tickets

So, now that we've survived June and had

wilh the US WEST group. A number or folks

are planting seeds wherever we go. This is not an
easy subject for people to talk about but at least
some ,re trying. Plans are in lhc works to do a
wotk..shop for Metro Tech lacer this ran as part of
their awareness or diversity program. Liulc by

scary 10 talk wilh large groups. but it is very
